Kaitlyn Foster, PNP, RN
As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse, owner of Queen City Doulas—a successful doula agency in Charlotte—and mom of two boys, Kaitlyn knows firsthand the whirlwind that comes with starting a family. After experiencing the support of her own mother during her postpartum period, she was inspired to provide the same high-quality care to other families.
She believes that every family deserves personalized, thoughtful support. Postpartum Support Academy teaches aspiring doulas how to offer this level of support to their clients, while also giving them the skillset to build thriving businesses.
Jodi Kinney, LPN
With a background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and years of experience caring for mothers and babies, Jodi has seen firsthand how crucial postpartum care is. Reflecting on her own experience as a mother in the 80s, when postpartum support was scarcely recognized, she understands the profound difference postpartum support can make. Becoming a doula trainer was a natural next step for her, blending her medical expertise with her deep desire to help families feel confident and supported during the postpartum period.
Jodi loves mentoring new doulas, ensuring they not only gain the necessary knowledge but also the hands-on experience to provide exceptional care to new families.
She is a proud grandmother to two grandchildren, cherishing family time and passing on the wisdom of nurturing across generations.
